Planes & Trains Party

Wow its almost half way through March and the house is nearly back to normal after our little man’s 2nd birthday.  He had an absolute ball running around the backyard with his cousins and helping himself to most of the food on the table now he can reach.  I can’t believe how tall this kid is!

I had a bit of help with the baking during the week although he’s worked out licking the spoon is the best bit.

I found great inspiration for planes and trains party ideas on pinterest and here is the outcome of my decorating.

The cake took a little longer to decorate than planned but came together without too much stress.  I’ll be sharing how I made this soon.

What party themes have you done for your kids?  I’d love to hear about them.

I haven’t had much of a chance to get behind the sewing machine since Sam arrived 7 weeks ago but now the dust has settled from our birthday month I’m hoping to have more to share really soon.  And don’t forget to check out my guest blogs over at And Sew We Craft.

My Little Monkey is turning 1

I can’t believe how quickly time flies.  It feels like only yesterday I was heading to the hospital.

I think I started planning little O’s party in August last year…yep 6 months in advance.  It came together so well, including icing the cake at 11 the night before.  Sigh of relief that it turned out the way I had hoped.

A huge thank you to family and friends who helped out with food and setting up.  A massive thank you to Samone from Cake Ink for creating such a cute little monkey for all the party stationery. Continue reading

2010 Creations

Well what a year it has been.  Many a paper creation was made.
This year is going to be an exciting one with a few new designs as well as some new products.  I have a few paper creations up my sleeve and I’ve been playing with some ideas on my new sewing machine…paper & fabrics, so many possibilities.

I look forward to sharing 2011 with you all.
